Starting his first company at 19, Gustaf has started projects in everything from events, theater and music to web development, marketing and politics. He studied Cognitive Science at University of Gothenburg, Rhetoric, Chemistry and Law at Stockholm University, and Biomedical Engineering and Business at Illinois Institute of Technology where he graduated cum laude with a B.S. in Psychology.
In 2009 he founded The Entrepreneurial Chase, a competition that has engaged over 200 young entrepreneurs over three years. He’s also been the president of Young Entrepreneurs of Sweden, a non-profit organization gathering Swedens finest entrepreneurs under the age of 30. Other initiatives includes the straw construction toy Strawbees, and the programming and robotics education platform Quirkbot.
His latest project is Makerspark, Sweden’s first 3D Print Shop, a 200 sqm technology exploration workshop in Old Town, Stockholm, with a co-working office, event space and on-demand printing store.
Gustaf has been a guest lecturer at Stockholm School of Entrepreneurship and Hyper Island, as well as done inspirational talks for thousands of high school and college students. He’s frequently hired by companies to inspire employees and customers, as well as provide insights about new trends, and create understanding for how they affect us as individuals and organizations. Clients include Nordic Choice, Saab, PwC and Ricoh.
As a speaker, he tells the story of how technology drives societal change, and how we as humanity are deeply integrated with our own innovations. Creators of, and created by, the tools we use. These philosophical frameworks are then applied as practical, everyday insights about personal development, organizational theory, and change management.
